I'm IT and can tell that it's always been like this in smaller companies. Now whenever I see a pretty woman in a workplace, I know I see a total zero. I almost miss my days of blissful ignorance, expecting the same contribution from both sexes.

Been in IT for almost 20 years. Most of the women are completely clueless about IT. I've never met a "true" female tech person. Every female in IT I've met hates it. They hated the courses and they hated the job. They don't want to do it.

Constantly asking questions about trivial things they should know about. Some of the code/scripts by women use some of the most convoluted, backwards logic I've ever seen.

In IT diversity like this isn't a strength. It makes everything less efficient.

I work in Times Square, New York, and yesterday the cops had some kind of a drill apparently, many officers in full gear, M-4s, dogs, gas masks, etc. and then I spotted this skinny pretty lady officer among them... God only knows what that's like. I caught myself shaking my head and sighing, like some Ignatius Riley type of an a-hole lol

My favorite software for writing code implemented a proactive hiring policy. Their IDE is now almost unusable %300 more instability, When you go to support you get one of these smilers closing your ticket after telling you to figure it out yourself.

I worked with 2 I.T women so far (upclose anyway).

One was older...mid-fifties. Seems to have her shit together...she showed me how a lot of stuff works. I still dislike how easy it is for her to socialize, but meh.

The younger one, been there 3 and a half years...took 2 of those off for maternity leave. Took a whole month off because her child was sick once. Takes day/s off here and there. Best part is every time she disappears, she complained to me and a colleague that her work isnt reassigned to someone else while shes gone, and she doesn't remember how the systems work when she comes back (actually understandable to forget, but expecting reassignment???)

Guess who has to pull up the slack while shes gone?

Not to say the men dont have problems... one is a total alpha-male wannabe for example... but seriously, the younger female, from a work perspective - should never have been hired.

this is funny, but honestly if you work with any of these women IRL, you have a real shit-tier job.

work harder than them, get promoted, get a new job.
