I’ve been in tech since middle school, coding from a young age. Nobody didn’t give two shits about me because tECh r 4 N3rd$.

Best part of it all was that I rejected playing rugby to join a computer club and was labelled a “loser” by my peers because of that.

Fast forward to today with the tech field being one of the best industry to be in, and me working for my country’s government as a software engineer. All my peers; especially females all started flocking to me, looking up to me and asking me to hang out.

The truth has set me free since I was 13, and there is no turning back. Men are status symbols and people look at you the way society deems you as.

20 years ago this wouldn't have been something women needed to even worry about, but more and more men are waking up and realizing that since women have abandoned their traditional gender roles as "Oppressive", they need to do the same. If you want to do it without getting a lot of shaming, when asked to pay on a date just say that you don't believe in stereotyping women as helpless and incapable.
