Learn to do your own repairs on your possessions, especially your car and home. Youtube is your friend.

After you've managed that, learn to make the things you use. Grow your own food. Sew/repair/tailor your own clothes.

Martial arts are the coolest thing you can do. There is a lot of benefits: it's fun, keeps you in a good shape, improves your self esteem, relieves stress, improves your safety and you can meet a lot of cool people there. It might be somewhat dangerouse in scence of injuries, but I think that, this time around, the juice is definitely worth the squeeze. I also like reading, hiking, gaming, fixing stuff, but martial arts are definitely number one! Personally, I recomend Systema, but just any will do.

Personally, I love crochet. Been doing since I was 13. Also thought about getting a wood carver knife. Small blade, big handle. These are slow, detailed, meditative activities.

Drawing. Tons of free lessons online, particularly if you start with the fundamentals (drawabox.com) and then move to Youtube or other online tutorials. You don't have to be an artist--many people try to learn to draw just as a skill, to communicate ideas.

Also considering just learning as a hobby. Whether your interest be history, math, science, programming, whatever, there are resources where you can start at the basics and work yourself to an arbitrary level of expertise.

Ok so I like :

Vitamin / herb encapsulation - buy some vegtable capsules and start looking into supplementation for health. Can make your own vitamin c caps or pop any powdered herbs inside, can't do liquid ones though. Best part is you only need hands to fill them up.
Bodybuilding - just make sure to track macro and micro nutrients.

I get up to all sorts of stuff,lately i'v been buying up old Japanese chefs knives and restoring them,all you need is some sand paper and a bit of woodworking knowledge,there's loads of YT video's of people doing it,it's actually quite therapeutic taking someone's perceived piece of junk and turning it into a useful tool.

What are your interests? Of your interests, what can you fiddle with within your budget and living space?

Make model airplanes? Model trains? Something you like to repair?

Video gaming, once you have the system, whether PC or console, becomes a good value for the money with the amount of time you can spend on it. I know they’re not for everybody.

Read books. Go to the library, the non-fiction section, and pick out stuff that jumps out at you.
