Hello, I hope you’re all doing well. I sincerely hope that I’m not imposing on your space, if so, I’ll delete my post.

I’m a 22 year old woman, in a long term relationship with a lovely man, but I’m aware that I’ve hurt him and other guys in the past without realising. My boyfriend and I have discussed this, and reconciled with reaching a mutual understanding and our relationship is far better than it was, however, I know that although ours is better, that cannot be said for other close relationships with women. He isn’t on this forum, but he does have views similar to what many of you here have. I have talked to him about how he feels he’s been hurt and what we as women can do better, but I also wanted to get some other opinions and thoughts from those of you who are able to give me advice.

I’ve read some threads on here and although I don’t always agree with everything I see, I acknowledge that your points are often true and valid. To be completely honest, I do suffer from insecurities hearing some of the conversations, but I know it comes from feeling pain and hurt from your stories, and feeling that my existence as a woman is harming our society more than helping it. However this isn’t about me, and it is somewhat selfish for me to think like that.

So, with all that said, what are some ways that women can genuinely improve and make things better for you? I am just a guest on this forum, so I am here to listen and do my best to understand. I may not get it straight away, so I apologise in advance, but I hope that you will be willing to be patient with me.

Thank you very much in advance and I hope you have a good day.
