I'll say that MGTOW subreddit is not going to give you any kind of soft feedback on something like this. These are men who have sworn off emotional and financial connection to women in one form or another and usually for good reason.

As soon as a woman starts setting expectations above what you've always given her your happiness in the relationship is over. If you bend over, she will move the goalpost one rung higher next time.

People today, and especially women have such a high bar for expectations it's impossible to maintain. Comparison to friends relationships used to be the only tool women had. Now they have the entire world's highlight reel of relationships to base their dreams on. Heartwarming videos of extravagant shows of romance, but she puts the phone down and there you are, just sitting around enjoying a peaceful afternoon. How dare he? Why doesn't he do those kinds of things for me? He must not love me.

It doesn't matter that you did something thoughtful months ago, and don't you dare think of doing the same thing twice. that's not thoughtful. She can't feel that moment again. Honestly in the end I realized I will never meet her expectations, nobody ever will, because her expectations are and always will be impossible to meet.

She's not a unicorn. She's typical of the entire feminized female species these days. They have been taught to want it all. That means they are not capable of being satisfied. You'll never make a woman happy. Happiness comes from inside and we are all lucky if we have more good than bad days. Thanks to everyone for all the great comments on this. Keep in mind that in the end she literally walked away with next to nothing. We were engaged when she moved out. She could have easily stuck around for a while after we got married and took half of my stuff. And it's a lot, two businesses, House, mountain property, vehicles, trailer, toys, etc.
