Me - 33M my wife 29F.

I have a question for you guys about driving. A bit of background, my wife and I have had serious ups and downs throughout our marriage to the point where I told her I wanted a divorce about a year ago. Since then things have gotten a bit better but only after finding this sub about 3 months back did I realize that a lot of our issues could have been resolved if I hadn't been so fucking beta for so many years.

I have started applying trp for the past 2 and a half months or so and the results have been dramatic to the point where I have to keep myself from smiling because I can almost predict exactly what my wife will do next. Overall I'm a lot happier and I'm loving taking life by the horns and doing things for me. There are still shit tests obviously and I pass most of them but I do still occasionally fail and only realize after but I move on and learn from it.

Now, my question. In your guys opinion do I let my wife drive me around? The reason I ask this is because I always used to drive everywhere, that was just what I felt was my duty but also the manly thing to do. Then during one of our arguments when things were really bad I lost my temper and punched a solid wood door and messed up my right hand quite badly. I couldn't use my right hand properly for over 6 months but I managed to drive myself around after about a month using my wrist mainly.

While I was out of commission my wife would drive me everywhere and I didn't like it but over time I realized that I didn't mind being chauffeured around really. I didn't have to worry about traffic, I could talk to my wife properly because I wasn't concentrating on the road and in general I could just relax. I taught my wife how to drive and she is good at it so I trust her completely.

Now that my hand is healed though it seems like she will drive if we go anywhere in her car and I drive if we go anywhere in my car. I've just kind of gone with the flow and if I want to drive her car I tell her to give me the keys (which is sometimes met with a bit of resistance but she will hand over the keys). I'm just curious if letting her drive is making me less RP or if me allowing her to drive me around is like letting her do me a favour by giving me a break from driving?

TL;DR: Should I allow my wife to drive me around when we go places in her car or is this BP behaviour?
