Summary: We have an excellent playbook (shit test responses) of established maneuvers for defending against women trying to assert dominance over men. But I think this is only half of the picture. I want to develop a similar playbook for men asserting dominance offensively and proactively. Please contribute your best moves for taking control of short term situations and decisions. These will be positive and negative and include leading, criticizing, strong captaining, reprimanding, negging and various forms of decisively resolving situations.

Motivation: I think its fairly well established that women respond sexually to dominant men. In a lot of ways our path here is to become a dominant, high value man and lead our wives. As needs to be said in every dominance discussion, there are many other elements of being a high value man beyond just dominance and dominance does not equal high value in and of itself. That being said, dominance is a critical element of developing a strong Captain/FO relationship. The technical details of leadership (ownership, planning, execution) are important. But if my wife had a sniveling assistant who got the details of leadership (direction, planning, execution) right but had no dominance, she still wouldn't submit to him. We've all seen the guy who's right, but so beta that no one wants him to be right. So the question of establishing and maintaining social dominance, in addition to knowing the right course, is critical for us.

Framework : Dominance is a fluid property that is established over the course of multiple interactions. The question then for us becomes how to consistently establish and maintain dominance. I believe this is made up of two distinct types of dominant interactions:

  1. Refusing or defending against a submission demand from another person (Alpha Defense). Shit test response.

  2. Proactively demanding a submission from another person (Alpha Offense).

Around here I think we have a lot of emphasis on passing shit tests, which is a type of Alpha Defense. A woman demands some form of submission with a superfluous pretext (wanting water maybe), and the man defends via any number of methods (A&A, ignoring it, nuking) which are generally equally superfluous as the details are not the real game. One of the things that really impressed me with MRP when I first arrived was that we have a very well developed playbook for shit test responses / Alpha Defense. I want to develop a similar playbook for asserting dominance with Alpha Offense. I suspect that (in addition to getting some other things right) successfully executing a sequence of Alpha Offense moves in the afternoon will result in sex that evening. I suspect that successfully executing a sequence of Alpha Offense moves in February will result in a submissive FO in March and as long as dominance is maintained.

Request and Discussion: Please contribute your best moves for taking control in common, short term situations. These will be positive and negative and include leading, criticizing, strong captaining, reprimanding, negging and various forms of decisively resolving situations. These could just be stories of times you stepped up and fucking owned a situation. I understand that we have long term strategies for taking control of major life areas (diet, finances, work) but I'm looking for short term plays, ideally that could be artificially set up as part of an organized strategy or employed periodically if your wife is unhappy with your level of dominance. I'll start with a few examples we're probably familiar with.

Nice Example: Planning a day trip.

  • Setup: You organize some spare money, plan where to go, make sure there is time.

  • The Decision you're controlling: What we are going to do with some time and money. The man will dominantly assert that that woman should follow.

  • The Delivery: "Get in the car, we're going to [place she wants to go], I've arranged everything."

  • Motivation for compliance: She'll miss out on emotional availability and a fun time.

Not-Nice Example: Criticism

  • Context: The woman does something that is problematic (or can be called problematic).

  • The Decision you're controlling: Her behavior is unacceptable, she should feel bad, she will do something different.

  • The Delivery: This clearly needs to be stern, mature and patriarchal. "Hey, that's not acceptable, you need to try again. What's wrong with you?" (I'd really like to hear about how other people deliver this)

  • Motivation for compliance: Your approval and emotional availability. This should follow the negative interaction.

EDIT: The above format is for illustration. Post ideas in whatever format. Good point TFA.
