I wanted to fly planes since I was a kid. All that I ever heard growing up was, "You can't do that, it is too expensive, too hard, you wouldn't be good at that, you can't make money at that, etc, etc."

I just decided to go for it and signed up with a flight club that a buddy has been with for a couple of years. The club itself is great, male dominated, they get together regularly and hang out in the hangars and do maintenance on the planes. It is a good time.

Back to flying. I have to say, it has been a heck of an experience so far. It uses both sides of the brain, math, science, and the artistic side. I really love it. I looking forward to the day when I get my license and can just go anywhere.

I just wanted to offer my thoughts on this to the group if guys are looking for interesting hobbies. I really enjoy it. Check it out if you are interested in flying at all. It is on the expensive side, but it is hard to beat.
