I’m no longer homeless, I’m at a group home
I’m here temporarily, for 2 weeks
So far, they are nice to me, and I have freedom here, unlike the other group home I moved into before that I had to leave after 2 hours because I couldn’t handle it
I’m allowt to keep to myself, they said that everyone here keeps to themselves, which is good. At the other group home they were forcing us to socialize and do group activities that they choose / we weren’t allowt to do our own hobbies, if we didn’t like the activity we had to do it anyway, and it was on a strict schedule multiple times a day. Here they don’t do that and I can do whatever I want and be alone. Yay!!!!!!
They said I can go for walks anytime as long as I let them know before & give estimate of when I’ll be back. They let me know of nice place in forest at end of street. There’s a nature park near here I will spend a lot of time in.
After this is done, I’m waiting here temporarily because I’m moving into a 3 bedroom house with 2 other disabled people. But they have to renovate it first. It’s being done by the regional Disability rights organization .
My bunny daughter is here with me, and she’s coming with me to the house later too. I’m glad. It’s nice to be somewhere warm and safe.
