Yeah, you're wrong. Some people were expressing surprise that the messages didn't go down the path that so many of those kinds of messages take, and you decided to jump in and bash feminism? No one was making assumptions about all men, they were making assumptions about the kind of person who sends a bunch of unanswered messages. By the way, that kind of person totally exists, and seems to be pretty prevalent on dating sites. I myself have experienced the series of desperate and then abusive messages on OkCupid. Talking about that isn't inherently sexist.

I think you were right. The initial post reeks of "let's all make fun of this guy because he's awkward/loser man" where, if the genders were reversed, it would be deemed offensive, insensitive and harassment(especially since she didn't even bother to hide his face or personal information). It's basically just a very dehumanized way of publicly shaming someone for doing something that only men are expected to do(if the roles were reversed, and she was expected to bend over backward for any type of response/attention from the opposite sex, what's to say that she would be any more embracing of rejection or any less desperate?), because she thought her personal prejudices entitled her to do so. The assumption that he would just turn abusive, something that stems entirely from gendered negative stereotypes and false assumptions, and the use of the gendered term "creep" also isn't any better. If this woman had any type of decency or empathy towards men in general, or the challenges that men face in dating, than she probably would have understood where he was coming from(and offered him some sort of basic human decency) or, at the very least, wouldn't have posted his messages looking to publicly humiliate the guy. Even her posts/replies on the matter demonstrate a very condescending, narcissistic and dehumanizing predisposition towards the guy. If it was a guy going "ha, look at this fat bitched trying to talk to me on okcupid" and who publicly posted the messages she sent him(even as he egged her on), people would be offended and appalled by his treatment of that woman, not cheering him on for it. If you were to look at the intent behind the post/replies, there is certainly a level of subtle misandry present.
