To me personally I do not feel like a human being BECAUSE I'm male. I can be beaten and SAd by women at any time, I never really had any bodily autononmy, I can be used as a tool to fight in the milllitary whenever my government decides so, I have to face discrimination in housing and in female-dominated fields, amongst many other things and I get hated for demanding basic dignity and justice.

I hate the incessant all out attack on white people that has permeated throughout society. I am a minority but have the ability to step outside of myself and look at things impartially. Society already hates, well Christianity mostly. There is virtually no pushback on Judaism or Islam. I joke around with my white friends that they need to propagate their race, realistically I’m not joking. White people do not deserve this manufactured hate and deserve to thrive as other races do

You're talking about the culture war. The Left controls the media (one study said 90% of reporters are Democrats). So any group that tends to vote Republican gets demonized, like straight white males. (The Christian part is secondary). This war will be won or lost at the ballot box.

I share this feeling often. Just recently I was reading in a local book shop and had a small group of women sit down beside me. They started talking about how they had made a point to no longer read works by “straight white males.” Loudly, in an attention seeking kind of way. Again and again. Like they wanted me to challenge them or something. I really felt like they just sounded like morons, but those little interactions repeated over time do become frustrating. Add in that the media demonizes our existence, and it’s not hard to get burnt out on people.

I’ve personally been violently and sexually assaulted a number of times by women, so layer all of that on top and I often find myself avoiding people all together. Why would I want to participate in and benefit a society that hates me for the way I was born and abuses me?

These days I stay mostly to myself, although I do see a therapist and have female companionship. My advice would be to treat the awful people the way they treat you, and treat the ones who care about you extra well.

Don’t let yourself get consumed by bottled up hate. You’ll end up spiraling or falling down a rabbit hole. Just be a dick right up front to those who are dicks to you. Get it off your chest. Hold onto your confidence, and take no shit. And don’t be ashamed that you’re living a better happier life than they allow themselves to.

Can you please stop the whining? Christians aren’t persecuted anywhere in the western world, in fact they have tons of privileges. White men are seen as the most desirable men on earth and usually get better treatment everywhere they go around the world. Try being a Black person or darker skinned person in Latin America, Asia, or the Middle East and you will run into so many problems. People will automatically hate you because they feel your skin is “too dark.” These same people are the ones that will rush to buy sperm from a White man, just to have “beautiful children.”

Also, straight people aren’t hated anywhere on earth. No countries criminalize straight people and no religions condemn it as “evil.” No countries give people the death penalty for being straight.

You are hated for being a man, I won’t deny that. Misandry affects every single man for simply being male.

I hear your grievances, and theyre all valid. Here in America, men are demonized for everything they do. The left love to paint white men as violent criminals. The right paints immigrant men as violent criminals.

You cant change how the world works, but you can change how you react to it. Thats the most control we really have over anything outside of ourselves. I would suggest learning about different philosophys like stoicism. You deserve to be happy brother, regardless of the fact the media wants to paint all men as monsters.

Most people you meet in person do not think like this. The internet and the media are the worst parts of humanity in a melting pot.

No- not for their kindness, but for the mithridatization. The alienation you're feeling now I went through in my childhood struggles. Mine were with the educational system, but were rooted in autism, which is a goldmine for sociointellectual wars, and the resulting trauma. If others here answer "yes" in ways beyond the current crop of bigoted nonsense, most of them will likely have some level of it.

Mithridates, if you're unaware, was a king of Pontus (in Anatolia) who was terrified of being poisoned, so he started taking a tiny bit of each poison, getting somewhat sick, and recovering, slowly increasing it to build up an immunity. Eventually, he became immune to all the common poisons of that time and place (there are some that accumulate over time, so you definitely CAN'T do it with everything, and Mithridates himself wound up regretting it when his armies were defeated and his enemies coming to capture him, and he couldn't poison himself to avoid that fate).

I questioned what I was told, and what I was told to do- and what others did. The backlash was fierce, but I was a child, so people couldn't bring themselves to harm me physically, even if they wanted to. They turned instead to shaming and guilt, but those had no power over me, and I would not be silenced. Years later, when I watched Patrick McGoohan's The Prisoner, it hit me harder than almost anyone else, because I knew exactly what he was going through, having experienced it myself.

Am I human? Am I like the others? Maybe not- but I am like me, and the person I am is the type of person I want to be.

Unfortunately, that's about all the advice there is to give on the subject; live according to your own chosen values and let the masses do as they choose. Suss out what you find to be admirable, and make yourself into it. It's unspeakably isolating, but the power it gives you will let you stand on your own against the world when no one else can. And there's a lot to be said for enjoying your own company.
