The scariest thing about this entire debacle for me is how many women that have helped me out in times of need have said they're fine with innocent men going to jail as long as 10 or more rapists don't walk free.

And all I can think is "Bitch, would you be fine with it if it was me?"

Legit. I'm a female victim who never reported. But that does not mean I automatically assume any claims made are true. Its innocent until proven guilty not vice versa. If she is lying she only makes it harder for real victims to find justice, if she's not, I hope justice is served. But we just can't assume one or the other without proper evidence. The fact that people are so strongly aiding one way or the other is incredibly problematic especially with the very liberal press involved brainwashing everyone further.

As a woman with some sense in her head, I apologize for the insanity so many of my gender are promoting. I watched the Kavanaugh hearing and it broke my heart. To see a man’s reputation so instantly destroyed just because a woman said some words. No proof. Blatant evidence against her claim. It still doesn’t matter. She said it and that’s enough for this crowd.

It’s devastating to me, and as a daughter to an amazing man and sister to two other amazing men I can’t imagine how I would feel if someone put them through this. I also can’t help but be frustrated on behalf of TRUE rape victims, which have existed since the dawn of time, because our society has become one collective boy that cried wolf and how can you know who to believe? It’s twisted and sick and I hope people watch this and that they wake up.

false dichotomy? You can believe someone and still ask for evidence. What you shouldn't do is say things like, "she couldn't be a victim because she was drinking" as our president has said.

We should believe men who are victims of rape, and women, that doesn't mean we don't seek evidence before locking someone up.

I believe the death of Nicole Simpson makes her indeed a victim, but that doesn't mean that anyone who is accused is guilty of the crime. It would be vastly different if we said, "She wasn't a victim, he wanted to die. If not, she wouldn't have drank any wine!" it is blaming the victim for the outcome.

So I say we stop blaming the victim in ALL cases, AND still require evidence to lock someone up.
