The double standard here is clear.

If men suffer from a disproportionate amount of suicides, feminists are quick to label it as ‘ toxic masculinity’ ‘fragile masculinity’, being aggressive, a 'product of the ‘patriarchy.’ But when women suffer from a disproportionate amount of self harm, or even suicide attempts, do any of us think of using those terms?

These terms are toxic themselves and do nothing to help men apart from blame men for their own issues and portray a negative view of masculinity. These narratives are harmful to mens mental health and serve no empathy towards men whatsoever nor tackle root causes such as , men being in the most dangerous and stressful jobs/sectors which happen to have the highest suicide rates (eg construction and mining) war veterans trauma ,most farmers being men, economic pressures.

People need to open their eyes. They are using men suiciding AGAINST MEN while pretending that they are benefiting us by ‘dismantling the patriarchy’ to apparently tackle male suicide when in reality, they are politicizing it against men and stereotyping masculinity as toxic.

Women have higher self harm rates, if men were blaming that on ‘toxic femininity’ or ‘fragile femininity’ then you would be called a misogynist. Never in a million years would feminists because it is no good. You do not see any MRA or man saying so, because the average man does not have any collective generalizing feelings towards women. Yet you dont see feminists address womens self harm in the same way with these bitter terms because they know its not helpful , but are happy to use them when talking about men's suicide because they do not see men as victims but rather as perpetrators.

Shouldn't women just stop bottling up their emotions and we teach young girls about toxic femininity and fragile femininity in order to tackle women's alarming self harm rates? We need to change this culture of toxic femininity and stop instilling threatened femininity in young girls, we must educate them on the harmful effects of it if we are to decrease womens self harm rates!! /s

Doesnt sound so great eh?

Dont forget that, these terms are also said to be the causes of rape and assault by feminists, to link men suiciding to rape and other crimes by putting them under the umbrella of 'toxic masculinity' is disgusting and shows how its just a -very successful- weapon against us. Its a ridiculous buzzword thats indoctrinating our society with misandry.

Toxic humans and traits exist, not masculinity or femininity.
