Related: In 2008 I received some texts from an ex, who had mistakenly heard that I was single again at the time, and was drunkenly pursuing me on the phone. She and I have some bad history and I hadn't even seen her in 5+ years and was quite happy without her in my life. Anyways, she starts out with "I miss you" and after me telling her off over and over, moves on to "I could have you if I wanted you. You know it.", and continues on to the blatant sexual advances. Queue receiving dozens of nudes. Normally, I'd ignore it. It's not like I haven't seen her in all matter of undress before. Except after ignoring her for the rest of the night, it continues the next day with "I'm outside your apartment" and "Who's at your place? I'm going to beat her ass!". So I called the police, they suggest I ride down to the magistrate, I do. Magistrate doesn't give a damn about the threats, but actually cares about the photos. Traditionalists to save the day, yay! Electronic harassment, I didn't care to follow up with what happened with her or the charge, since I haven't heard from her since.

Point being, at least in my case, the only time I've ever had to deal with phone nudies, it ended up working out for me and I'm a guy. Legitamately shocked and still sorta am. Ignoring the fact that they overlooked the more serious threatening behavior from her, of course. I can't imagine if I were to experience the same thing again that I would even consider posting her crap online or to her parents. What's the point? If I'm actually offended or threatened by it, there's an actual process I can utilize to have her legally charged, and if I actually feel threatened by her, I'd be an idiot to further piss her off. It only makes sense if it doesn't bother me and I want to be an asshole about it.

So my take on it, is that this woman doesn't really give a damn about the pics, but does give a damn about being an ass and garnering attention and brownie points. And the femidbags that are commenting on it are in it for the entertainment. This crap doesn't really happen in societies where men aren't expected to be over-the-top forward, and women have a say in men's expectations, and so maybe some of their focus can be on the root cause instead of cheap laughs at this poor sob's expense.

I feel as "written in ink" as the internet is, he knew that when he sent it. I don't,t think of it as "rape culture" as I have never understood that term, but more of the shitty stuff that scumbag Steves do. And I always assumed they were looking for their scumbag Stacy. As a guy, I have had girls send me provocative pictures, both my ex girlfriends and a few girls on dating websites. I wouldn't post them anywhere and I've had two female friends who's ex threatened to post their pictures online.

In short he took a risk, and I live by the life rule "never do anything you wouldn't defend to your mom" luckily I have a liberal mom :-)

There are wrongs on both sides but I personally believe what the woman has done is worse.

Still, You don't just send unsolicited dick pics to strangers on the internet and expect them to honor your privacy. I as a guy do not blame that woman for what she did, i blame that asshole who sent those pics. he should have known better.

She does spew a lot of feminist crap. I'm not sure how a picture of someone is rapey. Gross and creepy I get but not rapey. I do support her revenge of his stupidity though. She told him she wasn't interested and he just continued in his stupidity. He took a bet and the house won. Think of it like this. If you knew and liked them both who would you support?
