Those accused of rape deserve the same due process as those accused of any other crime. This is one of the reasons I also oppose denying those accused of rape a trial by jury as well as rape shield laws.

I remember reading a book by an FBI interrogator who began to suspect a woman he was questioning because she showed signs of distress. It turned out she was worried her parking meter would run out and her car towed. Distress simply isn’t evidence a crime was committed and shouldn’t be used to convict someone, not in rape cases or any other alleged crime either.

I also disagree with the concept convictions are too low and need to be higher. The goal shouldn’t be to have a certain conviction rate. The goal should be to convict those who are guilty as proven by evidence, whatever the conviction rate may be.

Even now men rot in jail for crimes they did not commit and they want to make sure even more innocent men rot in jails. Just another way to say men are expendable.

I hope they do not approve of this mockery of justice.

You would never ever see this level of privilge for a complainant in any other crime.

This is the lie about women oppressed by the patriarchy. Rape laws go above and beyond any other type of crime. Imagine robbery or burglary having juries removed or "distress" means the claim makes it to court when in most of those crimes you need CCTV, witnesses, alibies for the accused etc.

Then anonymity for the accused but not the defendant. No other law has that.

The rape laws are crazy the level of power is given to women that we wouldn't give to any other complainant in any other laws.

As soon as critical mass is reached, women will organise any workplace to their own advantage. Here, this has resulted in sinister cabals such as 'The Scottish Feminist Judgements Project'. Their 'guidance' has, within a generation, given rise to these newly-invented procedures and torts where only men can be guilty and only women can be victims.

There will be consequences. The Western tradition of high regard for women cannot survive the indefinite spread of making a mockery of justice. It's interesting that, way back in 1851, Arthur Schopenhauer's essay 'On Women' observed that women "as they are dependent on cunning rather than strength, have no sense of justice, and from that fundamental defect springs falseness, faithlessness, treachery, ungratefulness, and so on. In a court of justice, women are more often found guilty of perjury than men. It is to be questioned whether they should be allowed to take an oath at all."

Notice how feminists only target rape laws and never sexual assault. They know women are immune to rape laws and any injustice in rape laws cannot affect women. I'm sure they don't even regard rape of school boys by teachers as a crime, let alone rape.

Not to mention, school rapes are weekly news and stats are hidden in Scotland as well.
