Well everybody associated with men's rights should probably avoid women at all cost because if they accuse you of anything they already have you labeled as a misogynist you will be prosecuted using hate crime legislation.

If you so much as criticized any feminist trope you are a misogynist and hate all women... this is what real equality always meant to feminists.

I have been told, in recent discussions in other subs, that it is in fact gender-neutral. I would like to confirm that for myself, but I can't figure out how to read the actual text of the relevant bill.

I assume the relevant text is the Hate Crime (Misogyny) Bill 2019-21, as reported by the College of Policing as being presented to Parliament in November last year.

Quite frankly I have very low hopes for equal treatment when the bill has an explicitly sexist word in it.

Edit: What caused me to be corrected in those other threads is my assumption, based on the reporting, that it is one-sided. I don't think it's reasonable for me to accept responsibility for that assumption, given damn near everybody is reporting it explicitly as an anti-misogyny bill, and I can't find the source text to judge for myself. The reporting of it alone makes me sceptical that anybody's going to treat misandrist crime seriously, even if it is included in the wording of the bill.

The irony of course is that making misogyny illegal as a hate crime but not misandry is in itself an act of misandry. There is no reason to exempt men from such law except for a hatred of men and favoritism of women.

Hate is irrelevant to a crime taking place: it's the crime rather than the reason that is the most important aspect.

Hate is an emotion: it can't be a crime in and of itself, yet feminism seems to be doing its best to make having an emotion a crime in the same way as creating vibrations in air or squiggles on a display a crime (ie making speech a crime).

Words and feelings have no agency: they can't do anything without a party acting them out and it is the action that is potentially criminal, not the reason for the action. Attempts to give words and emotions agency is irrational.

Hating anyone should not be a crime, but what may be criminal is allowing circumstances to develop that produce such powerful emotions or any action taken on the basis of that emotion.

This was concerning in the 90s and early 2000s. Now we're already deep in misandry land. The laws don't say that women are given special treatment, but the idiots practicing the law do give women special treatment and antagonize men.

Mgotw was right from the very beginning and is the way to go.

No marriage, no children, no LTRs = a happy life with as far away from biased laws risks as possible.

I agree with comments this will only radicalise/ push away men from women and forming a nuclear family unit. Not men's problem. Don't put yourself on fire to keep others warm.

The marriage rate in the UK and Wales is already below 2%. A few more decades and it's going to crash and burn spectacularly. Taking on more and more debt to fund daddy government programs has its limits. UK debt to GDP is at 96% now. Greece went bankrupt at around 180% mark.
