The primary difference between the two is The Illuminati is considered an actual group of people whereas The Patriarchy is more of an abstract idea.

But aside from that there's a lot of similarities.

• The idea that they control government, media and business.

• The idea that they dictate social norms.

• The idea that they're to blame for all the problems in society.

• The idea that they are shadowy and faceless so it's hard to locate any real person to actually blame for anything.

I'm sure there's more similarities I haven't thought of but you get the idea.

Feminists actually have a lot more in common with conspiracy theorists than they realize.

I mean let's be real, there's no patriarchy in the west. If there really was a patriarchy feminism wouldn't even be allowed to exist in it's current form. It would have been crushed.

Saudi Arabia is an example of a real patriarchy. Over there you need like 4 male witnesses to convict somebody of rape. How's that for "rape culture"?
