Since bibliophile20 was appointed moderator, about two people have been banned. One of those was banned by bibliophile20 under the reasoning you've quoted them as giving.

The other was you, being banned by Rob Boyle, the writer of the game, for the same thing. If member #1 is a member of your feminist conspiracy, then I don't think you can really claim that it has been "taken over", unless bibliophile has fucking mind control powers.

This seems less like something topical for MensRights, and more like you trying to whip up an outrage army because you're mad you got banned.

RPG.net is the same way. They have openly stated that admitting you are an MRA is grounds for a permanent ban from the forum, as is stating any MRA views or "denying woman's experiences" by disagreeing with them on gender issues.

You tend to find this in any hobby that's male dominated. There's a lot of over protectionism for women in a hobby that's mostly men. Usually it's other guys that are so excited that a woman is interested in the same thing they are that they white knight up and over compensate.

I've often wondered if the reverse happens in female dominated hobbies. Maybe there's some horseback riding forums somewhere with a bunch of women rallying around the single guy that's into horses that posts there. I kind of doubt it though.

As pointed out on that forum, this is a very common story:

Feminist becomes moderator
Feminist immediately threatens any user who criticizes feminism or feminists.

The only thing I'd add to that thread is to note that this was the feminist mod's FIRST action as a new mod. Nothing else was discussed, considered or done, that was job one.

I came here for this very reason. I'm really upset at the turn of events over at the Eclipse Phase forums. It seems like feminist ideology has just taken over.

Then take it up with the owners of that site/game, don't come crying to us. This type of "Wah wah, the femz censors us" BS is something that has to change, if our movement is to ever gain momentum. We have to be seen as more than just overly sensitive whiner babies.

Everyday new people are clicking on this sub, after learning about MRA's and the MRM from outside sources. They then encounter a page of crybabies and leave with the now re-enforced notion that we are just a bunch of dudes that can't get laid. Stop. We are better than this. I want to be able to use this sub as a resource to awaken others, but it's getting increasingly difficult to shift through the trashtalk to get real substance. We have other subs for that kind of expose', use them please.

I took a cursory glance at the thread you linked, and saw nothing but a civil discussion on how to handle forum mod going forward...

We don't have to use 100% of our energy in exposing the failings of feminism anymore. We're past that point now. We've gained enough traction in the mainstream that we no longer have to. Now is the time to shift gears into more productive avenues of discourse.
