Feminists have long laid the groundwork for their pivot away from "we humbly seek equal treatment of the sexes" rhetoric towards "we're a women's special interest advocacy movement". If it ever looks like the masses are about to wake up to the fact that feminists have not only been lying the entire time about wanting equality but consistently, actively oppose it, then feminists will simply abandon their tongue-in-cheek equality rhetoric and fully commit to being the permanent female-representative social structure they've been establishing for decades. At which point anyone who still thinks trying to hold them to their word was ever going to work will simply be left standing around, looking foolish for having believed their nonsense.

If you find yourself thinking "surely pointing out feminists' specific double-standards in healthcare, relationships, victim support, criminal justice, education reform, general human empathy, etc., etc. will illicit general outrage" then you are wrong. Feminists have played the traditionalist majority like a fiddle this whole time. Traditionalists do not care about double-standards. They like double-standards. Double-standards make sense to them, because men and women are not interchangeable. When you point out sexist double standards that hurt men feminists laugh at the fact that you thought they would care and traditionalists scratch their heads wondering why you see it as a problem.

Pointing out double standards is not the silver bullet you think it is. Consider the scenario where feminists simply embrace all of the double standards and your decrying with a smile. What portion of the general population do you honestly think is going to suddenly take your side when you complain "but but they said they didn't like double standards. No fair!"? Feminists will have changed their stripes without breaking stride. We've seen them do this plenty of times before, and we've seen it work plenty of times before. Focus instead on tactics that work.

  1. Don't waste your time engaging in racist, xenophobic, or historically myopic distraction to try to misdirect feminists. They will sidestep your whataboutist attempts to pass on their hot potato with ease and you will have reduced yourself to their level for no tangible gain. Your hands were never really in danger of being burned, because the feminist view of society is a deliberate lie. But your willingness to throw other men under the bus for a reprieve from feminists' false accusations is telling of the state of fear they have you in.

    No, [different country/culture/religion] is not a constant Demolition Man-style "MurderRapeAbuse" siren of suffering women and predatory men. They have the same traditionalist ideals as the majority do in your culture: protect and provide for women at all costs. No, [any time before ~5 years ago] was not an "all you can beat buffet" of singularly oppressed women being hunted for sport by striding gods called 'Men'. They had the same traditionalist ideals as the majority do in your time: protect and provide for women at all costs. You know these calumnies are false when feminists say them about your cohort. Why would you try to foist them off on someone else? No, it is not "them" who need Feminism. No one needs Feminism. Feminism is a self-centered advocacy group of well-to-do charlatans masquerading as a human rights movement which morally justifies its unquenchable self-interest with a dualistic ideology of victimhood and supremacism (sound familiar?). All societies have and have had the same goal: protect and provide for women at all costs.

  2. Do point out statistical proof that women have (and always had) it better than men. Ignore the "let's not be like them" types who are filling the role of concern troll, whether they are doing so consciously or unconsciously. The truth is not inconvenient or offensive. It simply is. The truth is on the side of men's rights activism. The stats hold across all cultures and time periods and show a consistent pattern of relatively sacrificed men and relatively elevated women. This is our species' meta-double standard: in those areas of life which transcend gender roles and speak to our shared human condition men suffer worse outcomes than women and always have. Lower life-expectancy in adulthood, higher rates of violent victimization, worse prospects in education and employment in supposedly advanced societies. These are provable statistical facts. If oppression is comparative, men are the ones being oppressed.

    All societies start with distinct gender roles useful to that society's goal of self-perpetuation. All societies begin to abolish strict gender roles the moment modern conveniences appear (electricity, refrigeration, medical science, etc.). All societies fall back on traditional gender roles the moment progress becomes inconvenient (times of war or famine). No societies have required women to die en masse for their human rights. No societies have consistently turned the hoses on, sicced the dogs on, opened fire on women who were "fighting for their rights". In fact, the granting of rights and privileges to women has often been done in service of diluting the undesirable exercise of rights by men. See: the conservative bloc that was women gaining voting rights just in time to obliterate socialism/progressivism in the early 20th century. See: the distraction of the civil rights movements of the 60s and the destruction of private sector collective bargaining by the mass influx of ultimately disinterested labor.
