Although this is a good post, the title does not say enough about its subject. This forces people to click and read before they can decide whether they are interested. It also makes searching impossible.

If everyone did this, the subreddit would become unusable. Moreover, it means that your post will fail to reach some readers because they won't know what it's about.

So please don't do it in future. Take the time to describe your link, and save the time of hundreds of other people.

When making a title, it's best to assume the reader doesn't know what you're talking about - but don't go overboard with every detail. Then check if there are any words you can cut out without losing any important information.

Yeah it’s a true statement in theory but a lot of the legislation and policies feminist want to implement decrease the rights a men. For example, domestic violence programs that assume the man is the perpetrator of the violence.

Feminism isn’t about equality.

Poster was created by a women's group, who are doing exactly the opposite. They invented the pie mentality. MRAs should be handing these out to them, not the other way around.

Realize something, fellas. If a feminist is accusing you of something, preaching something, or critiquing you, she is doing the exact opposite....and I don't have to cite reference as it's right here for any to see.

It is a pie when those rights come with money and favors from government and private organizations.

Right to abortion .... see government, tax payers to pay.

Right to education ...see affirmative action and scholarships for women only,payed by government and private sector.

Right to jobs ,.....see gender quotas,forced companies to pay for jobs to create and that don't need, (new cost of doing business)and less jobs based on merit for men.

Right to menstruation...free tampons(payed by others)

IT IS A PIE when money and resources are involved,RESOURCES ARE FINITE.

This is an unpopular opinion even here

But it is a zero sum game... Believing otherwise is just wishful thinking.

More rights for women could be(and is at present) less rights for men.

Both men and women don't exist in a vacuum. People say that equality is not a zero sum game. But is actually is in many aspects.

What we need is we need to find the balance between rights of men and women so that nobody should face undue injustice.

For example, meetoo movement and decreasing the degree of evidence to convict is technically, furthering the rights of women(more rape convictions=more justice for women) . But it's an injustice against men.

Since decreasing the bar of evidence=increases the number of men jailed= decreases the amount of rapists going free... even if thousands of innocent men are jailed.

It often does, however, mean fewer privileges.

For example: Elimination of alimony would mean far less money being transferred from men to women. Men being granted default equal custody means women can't simultaneously be given default sole custody. Police treating DV calls fairly would almost definitely result in far more women being imprisoned and convicted for DV.

Has anyone ever actually had a woman tell them a right that men have and women don't? I mean, I know it doesn't exist, but I'd love to actually hear what rights these women think they don't have. As far as I know, they haven't even gotten past the part of habitually blurting out phrases they see on tumblr....

Every right comes with a responsibility.
So every right you receive, without taking the counterpart responsibility,
means somebody else has to take on that burden.

Imagine you working, but other people that don't work to have the same income as you,
because equality.

I disagree.

Let's assume that the law viewed everyone as equals in every (reasonable) way.

Men would get custody more often. Women would pay child support more often.

There would be fewer scholarships aimed at sex or race (e.g. the big push for females to get into STEM).

But that's the thing. Equality means equality and means admitting you have a one up in one way or another -- and giving that up in favor of equality.

Everyone has a leg up in some way or another. Equality means giving that up in favor of balance and it means you also lose the stuff that's been difficult on you. So you lose you benefits but gain losing detriments. Equality.

This is something feminists are starting to understand which is what's causing them to have that hypocrisy they see.

I've met very few people who genuinely what all things to be as equal as possible, in law and society.

I think what we'll find is that legally men are discriminated against more often than women (systemic legal discrimination).

Let's use an extreme example that I know will "trigger" some people: Imagine if a very wealthy person decided to make a white male only scholarship that they could apply for. Do you think people would be for this "equality" since others offer female only or X race only?

Ok so let's look at it from another angle: Let's ban ll discriminator scholarships -- they must be applied blindly (somehow or another) or equally. Do you really think the equality groups would support this?

And that's why I feel this sign is wrong.
