This is honestly a massive issue when it comes to men's issues. I work with CAFE, I liaison between the cafe and student groups like Ryerson universities men's issues awareness. If you know anything about the groups problem with ryerson's student union then you know how hard it is for the group to hold events on campus. We did a discussion group earlier this year and some people showed up thinking that we were white supremacist nazi women haters. You can also see this in the now infamous video on line where people are chanting out side of one of our events at UotT "this is what men's rights looks like". It makes it very difficult to bring these issues up and have a honest discussion about men's issues without someone spewing Youre a nazi as some sort of end all argument and people actually taking it seriously! Godwin's law much. That's just my two cents.

The right to openly discuss ideas must be defended... As long as I agree with those ideas.

Not defending the stupid message in the woman's hands, but shouldn't her right to express her idea be defended too?

Why all social movements have to be focused only in one side? Why feminism and not humanism? Why MensRights and not HumanRights? Why nobody is fighting for all?

I would love to get involved in social progress, but I don't want to pick a side, what should I do?

I'd say this more accurately represents AntiFa than it does feminists. The far left ideologies do tend to start clumping though...

We have Freedom of Speech here in America, a lot of people gave their lives and more to ensure that. If anyone tries to tell you different they are the enemies of those who did.

When Haters hide behind a 'just cause' you have every right to call them out. This is not a mens right issue. This is an alt right issue and as such has no place in this sub. This is why people associate us with the alt right.

this is about a neo-nazi and a woman that clearly does not support nazis or neo-nazis. if you want to call her sticking up for herself and her beliefs then yes this is feministic of her. But that guy isn't sticking up for all of males only himself and his far right neo-nazi ideologies. if you support men's rights then you should support women's rights too being extreme on either end is no good.

This is an issue with most millennials as soon as you present an idea from an opposing standpoint it's is quickly shot down as "hate speech." Any speech that's this different than their own speech is not tolerable and deemed unacceptable in their idea of the ideal society should be.
