The unnoticed elephant in the room is the acceptability of "eyewitness testimony" ~ which legally speaking is evidence.

CNN, and others, could do the right thing and hammer home how unreliable it is ~ how conviction based solely on such evidence is fertile ground for injustice.

While this man's conviction very well may be a result of racism it is only because the law allows for flawed evidence (again, so called eyewitness testimony) to stand without actual corroborating physical evidence that the jury's prejudices to express themselves.

Fix the system by insisting your local court rules are changed to reflect that eyewitness testimony is proven to be a very poor source of true facts.

Title is literally correct, but may be misconstrued as him getting $75 as compensation. It's not. His full compensation is contingent on annulling his conviction.
