I have a few family friends who are quite wealthy and what I've seen with many of them (not all) is that the men spend most of their time doing intense and stressful work while their wives buy luxuries and live in beautiful houses while often even having a cleaner to come in and do housework.

They literally spend like an investment banker without having to deal with the stress and work that investment bankers deal with to make said money. Also, even if they get divorced, they get enough from their husband's hard work to be financially set for the rest of their lives.

I'm not saying this wouldn't come without some disadvantages depending on what someone wants from life, but compared to my life right now and probably most people's lives, sign me up right now.
