So I work in a restaurant with some younger people, one of whom is a girl. Now this girl will often come stand next to me and poke me, or slap me, pretend to punch me, sometimes she will slap the back of my head. I usually tell her to stop touching me.

So my boss called me into the office and said I need to REALLY make her stop because otherwise it would be considered sexual harassment on my part, apparently it would be interpted as flirty on my part. She specifically said it's because I'm the male in this situation, that HR would see it that way.

I have not encouraged this behavior and tell her to stop when she does it, just left a bad taste in my mouth

EDIT: Okay, I'm kinda shocked at the response to this post. This post was not about this teenage girl, it was about my JOB. This post was about how my job turned a teenager basically goofing off into this stupid situation specifically because of my gender. I am not going to report this minor and have her fired, I talked to her, she apologized, it is resolved. I'm not resorting to the most extreme response possible when I could just talk to her and EXPLAIN why she needs to stop acting that way. It is my job as an adult to set an example of civil response to a situation.
