So, the concept of men's rights, or masculism (forgive me if these are not quite the same idea), is relatively new and unknown idea. One of the biggest problems I see, is that the important causes brought up by men's rights groups will be eclipsed by assumptions that they hold misogynistic views. While granted, some might, I tend to believe that the concepts of masculism and feminism might not be entirely mutually exclusive, at least in the context of general gender equality.

The reason this movement is not taken seriously yet is because masculism and misogyny are linked in the eyes of society, putting us on par with neo-Nazi groups and other hate groups. My fear is, that as the men's rights movement grows, tensions might escalate until there is open hostility and violence between feminism and masculism. Unless some meaningful dialogue opens between these two groups, men's issues are unlikely to be resolved, for the public mindset still views men's rights as detracting from women's rights.

My idea is to take a page from past non-violent protests. Personally, I think women should have their rights, as long as they don't overstep the rights of men, and I suspect some of you might agree with me. What if we publicly and vocally join feminist rallies as masculist allies in support of certain women's issues. The point of these actions will be to distance the MR movement from this pervasive association with misogyny, in hopes for a more favorable view on the plight of men everywhere. I truly think that this will help change the tone of gender issues from adversity to cooperation. Perhaps I'm naive, but civil rights movements are founded on hopeless ideals that become hopeful.

TL;DR: Cooperate with feminists on issues of mutual agreement in hopes of changing the adversarial tone of gender issues. Crash feminist rallies with signs declaring support for certain women's rights from the men's rights communities in hopes of swaying moderate feminists and mainstream America.
