And you cant argue ''is because they chose those jobs'' no more than i can argue that ''women dont hold positions of power because they chose not to do it''.

I am not an active MRA. I’m not really the activist sort, but here’s my understanding.

It’s basically what the name indicates. Men’s Rights focus on area where men do not have equal rights or do not have a protection perhaps they should.

A big issue for many MRAs is the bias in child custody. MRAs have had some success in getting many states to adopt less biased child custody laws, something feminists have strongly opposed.

Many advantages feminists have won for women create discrimination against men which puts MRAs and feminists at odds. Advantages for women owned businesses as an example.

I agree with you that there was a time women were legally disadvantaged in some ways (though feminists overplay this fact). It doesn’t follow to me however that women now deserve to be advantaged. Feminists often mention women had unequal voting rights but consider there isn’t a woman alive today who was legally denied the right to vote during suffrage.

Some MRAs are very concerned about males being circumcised before they are old enough to consent. Some MRAs are concerned about biased divorce rulings, others about discrimination against males in education.

This lead me to look at the wikipedia hit piece.

I like the scholar who says that the online based mens groups haven't yet found their voice other than "anti-feminism".

As the technological revolution has affected workers as much as the industrial revolution, and it's just happening in the last few decades, there may be many ways in which male and female roles change. As long as there is a feminism, there will be a need for MRAs. That's all I know.
