It's definitely not offensive. I mean, seeking sex without attachment is normally a trait associated with men, but I imagine many women like the idea to. I don't see it necessarily bashing men, as the joke could be told by either gender. Not saying some feminist wouldn't be pissed if a man said something similar, but I don't care what they think.

You know why Gone with the Wind was the best-selling romance of its time? Clark meets this married girl, fucks her while drunk, maybe gets her pregnant, taunts her about how she should hope for a miscarriage, and then trips her down the stairs causing her to miscarry, then he adds on to this by killing her only daughter by tumbling her from a horse which was cruelly and ironically named after him, and she still wants to pork him after all this, and likely continues to do so until he dumps her ass to return to his simple southern lifestyle. He pretty much kills all her children and wraps up by telling her to fuck off, and all she can think about is how she misses his bad-boy debonair debauchery.

Sign me up for that.

I don't see anything wrong with this sort of humour. It's not hate speech, and perhaps when either sex tells jokes like this it relieves a little tension in a harmless way. I haven't seen the film for a long time, but I do remember finding this part oddly amusing in spite of the real tragedy that surrounded it.

If this kind of preference for shallow, no-strings-attached, short lived relationships hadn't been used to shame male sexuality for decades by the same group that is saying it now, I might find more humor in this. I have no problem with celebrating zero comittment sexual fun, but the hypocracy ruins this for me.
