I mean, on the bright side, she realized what she'd done wrong. Hopefully it won't happen again. But yeah this is absolute bullshit. If it were my I'd probably have called her out on the spot but I get that when you're in such a high pressure situation it's hard to be assertive or aggressive.

You weren't a person to her when she was ridiculing and abusing you. She was perfectly fine with doing that, because she sees you as a thing, not a person. You're a pebble to be kicked out of the way for a brief moment of amusement. The idea that you're a person with feelings who can be hurt is unthinkable to her, it's as far out of her realm of understanding as quantum physics is to an ant.

You say she now understands that she was wrong, but it won't last. If she retains her feminist ideology, she'll inevitably revert back to her previous view of you in the near future.
