Nothing is more hilarious to me than a feminist talking about accurate worldviews and shared delusions. The amount of pseudoscience that is found in that movement doesn't really suggest they are in a position to judge people's personal experiences ad anecdotal.

The moment you engage with people like this you have already lost. Because they are dead certain that you are wrong. It doesn't matter what you say, what information you present, or really what you are talking about. They went into that exchange knowing you are wrong and they are right. And not an ounce of self-awareness, facts, or empathy is going to dissuade them from that certainty.

Thanks for trying. To be honest, you are never going to win that argument or change that mind. If you want to help, and it’s appreciated, just keep being open to real equality and if you see bullshit (of any kind, against any gender) call it out for what it is.

This is going to be a marathon, not a sprint.

Unless things really go too far against men and then I think the women of the western world are going to be in for a hell of a shock.

I don't see any obvious holes to poke. You're clearly much more articulate than the person you were engaging with. But instead of attempting to debate individual people (especially internet feminists outside of men's communities who probably won't be convinced), I would recommend taking a step back and focus on influencing other people who may view this public exchange.

Most people aren't going to go 10+ comments deep to follow a discussion like this. You might want to try airdropping clear and concise comments in places where you know many people might see it and focus on providing awareness and sympathy for men and their issues. Debating individuals online is often pointless especially when dealing with politically charged topics. But having a broader objective of influencing those who may view your comments can bear fruit and is a more efficient use of your time.

EDIT: As a side note, I think you should have pressed for examples when this person claimed that people here used "biased stories and cherry-picked headlines". When someone makes a specific claim like this that is contentious, I think it's important to hold them to it and ask for clarification and specific examples.

Other than that, I think you made a decent point about dehumanizing treatment leading to extremism. Many feminists seem to believe that problematic behavior from men simply falls out of the sky. But I think it's important to make this point without conceding that men are actually exhibiting problematic behavior. If feminists are claiming that some men are extremists who are exhibiting problematic behavior, then the onus should be on them to demonstrate that. Many feminists simply assert this as true without backing it up. Quite often, they're interpreting benign or otherwise harmless things as problematic.

To be honest you can’t win an argument with a feminist. They don’t understand logic and will never give up acting like an idiot. First off you used toxic masculinity and even the feminists know that isn’t real. Well it is real but so is toxic feminity and toxic bullying and toxic schooling and toxic literally everything. My point is that everything can be toxic and masculinity is nothing special.

99.9% of loud feminists live in first world countries and within comfort of concrete and asphalt infrastructure ( which is built entirely by "patriarchal monsters" ) that shields them from realities of world around them and their only access to rest of world is echo-chamber, woke newsletters. To remind you all, patriarchy was revolution against matriarchal system, where men was disposable hunters, while women had "comfort" of safe settlements and mating /baby making power.

Feminist don't talk about employment in hazardous occupations when it comes to equality. They want equality in traditionally male roles in movies, well paying white collar office jobs and etc. We live in post patriarchal society. Yet we don't see "Emma's" flocking Ukraine to create battalions of volunteer soldiers, do we? They don't like democracy and standing with weak when there is actually some work and risk is involved.

There is this fucked up thing about shouldering the dirty and mentally demanding side of modern life as a man... which reflects itself in stark contrast when you look at homelessness, suicide rate, high substance abuse and shorter lifespan. In last 5 years, in US alone (first world country with proper safety regulations in place) 29,000 men died due to workplace related injuries ,compared to 1,500 women.

It's really simple. She's a priori devaluing the lived experiences of men that contradict her worldview, because of the (often understandable) negative emotions behind them. You can't reach someone like that, because they're passing everything they see through a filter instead of taking people as they are.

Thank you for your empathy. I don't think you'll be able to convince her of anything, but you tried, and that's a lot more than most people would do.

Women like her shame men for opening up and then blame men for the problem they thrust upon us. They are the toxicity they talk about.

Some people are simply not worth engaging in conversation. You won't be able to help them, and they won't be able to help you. You seem far too level headed, open minded, and logical to converse with someone who possesses such an extreme and narrow view. Your attempt to get this person to empathize is honorable, but futile. It's like talking to a wall.
