Go to one of the forums meant for women and you'll see this post a dozen times a week "I think I was raped last night, but I'm not sure." Then the post will go on to describe how drunk they were at the party and how they ~~hooked up with~~ were raped by their friend. They'll receive responses from concerned individuals advising them to get a rape kit done and to go to the police. It's just understood that anything that happens without pure express consent is rape, if it happens to a woman. It doesn't matter how traumatic it is.

Go to a thread where a guy describes being legally raped and you'll see mostly responses about how lucky they were. 90% of the population thinks that all men should be happy when they get sex of any kind. It can never be traumatic for a man to have sex. This mentality transfers over to the guys who are actually being raped. They feel like it shouldn't bother them, so they block out any bad feelings and just believe that something good happened to them.

Only a few people from this subreddit will bring up going to the police, and even most of us don't actually believe they should. Part of the push for guys to go to the police is to make them understand that it's ok. The other part is to show how ridiculous the laws currently are. Imagine if every guy who has a drunk encounter goes to the police. The prisons would be filling quickly.

This turned into my own rant. Sorry.

She doesn't sound very sensitive to you, why be sensitive to her? Every rape victim I've know has been guilty embarrassed and apologetic, when I meet someone using their 'experience' to punish others, I tend to find them very insincere.

The reason to be sensitive to others is that you want their good will, not that you don't want their ill will, that's called fear. Her good will doesn't seem worth much as she is so aggressive, if you want to fear her or not is up to you but doesn't say anything about whether you are sensitive or not.

My friend and I both feel bad because obviously the issue hits close to home for her, but our intention wasnt to say our experiences were similar to hers. We wanted to say legally it was and that the law is wrong, yet she still made us feel bad for saying that. Its just annoying... oh well sorry to rant.

Women are very good at emotional bullying and emotional blackmail. That is, they're good at "making men feel bad". This was no accident.

I've noticed with a lot of women, if they can't win an argument, they try to sabotage the argument. It annoys me because it's true with people I'm in love with, like my girlfriend and my mom. I understand sometimes it's hard to change your viewpoint, but you don't have to literally cry about it.

You shouldn't feel bad for telling what you believe is true. She should feel bad for getting upset and shutting down discussions. It is not acceptable to be unable to rationally discuss a topic. People like that are children not adults.

You feel bad because you have been conditioned to feel shame when a women reacts in an emotional negative way to things you say or do. You were right, she was wrong, and she stormed off in a hissy fit because she couldn't use logic to counter your point(s). This is a basic female tactic to shut down a debate

If you ever wonder why so many feminists have such insane arguments completely devoid of logic this is it right here.

Learning to express yourself rationally to defend your views using facts and reason isn't inherent. It's something you learn by experience. For a child "I want cookies because I'll cry if I don't get them" is a perfectly acceptable argument. For an adult it's the sign of mental illness/retardation.

If you never have to learn it you won't. Like say if you know you can silence any argument against you (even sometimes getting people to change their minds) simply by crying and acting upset.
