Men don't get jobs easily. Women have gender quota in schools, colleges and in most of the air conditioned jobs. It's not safe for neither men nor women to go outside at night. You will be mugged, why women want to go outside at night when even men can't?

Pros for women:

Gender quota in all air conditioned workplaces.
Immunity from rape laws.
Immunity from genital mutilation.
Immunity from sexual consent laws.
Immunity from military conscription but have a say in military conscription of men by voting.
Protected treatment in domestic violence laws because of the Duluth model.

Cons of being a man: I am way more likely to be attacked by a stranger on a street at night than a woman, yet people will think it is the other way around and care only for female victims.

I suggest using the same questions for both, ask men and women if their able to walk comfortably at night.

I have a theory that those answers differ less on genitalia, and more on whether one leans masculine or feminine.

There are many organizations trying to help women secure a place in society,

Keep in mind when creating these questions that a great many men, maybe even a majority, don't have a place in society, or don't feel that society even wants them.

Cons of being a man: high likelihood of having your genitals mutilated at birth, always susceptible to conscription as cannon fodder, no social support so you have to make more money to support yourself and family and then are simultaneously villainized for doing so.

Pros of being a woman... Wow, I thought I'd have a laundry list here but I'm actually struggling to think of things. I suppose it is supporting and comforting to know that the medical field does devote so much effort into us. All of my doctors are male (personal choice of mine) and they're all very invested in assuring my health within woman's matters. They don't talk to me like I'm a damaged butterfly - they simply care and that's nice to have. Another pro is the freedoms I have. My grandmother didn't have the same liberties I have by any means. Even my mother didn't have some that I have, despite her alpha nature. I'm able to inquire into any job field if I fit the qualifications and not immediately be turned away because I'm a woman. I'm able to speak my mind, able to stomp my feet and tell my family 'im not your maid or your servant' when I feel they've taken for granted what I do for them in our lives. I'm able to express my more fragile emotions and not be deemed 'hysterical' as if I'm just a maiden with the vapors. Im entitled to be listened to and taken seriously in fairness with my male counterparts at work or in my life. I'm able to pursue things - I'm not sequestered to a kitchen or told not to read books because it "shall confuse my thoughts" - I have an insane amount of possibilities within reach and in my every day simply because I am a woman and countless people before me fought for us to have a voice, to have a life behind what we were gifted from our men. It's incredibly lucky that I was born when I was versus 80 years ago.

I'm sad to say there are more cons though, but I've experienced them largely at the hands of other women. We aren't a very kind breed and finding the good ones amongst us has been the chore of a lifetime. I'm grateful for the 2 best friends I have...30+ years and those ladies have never ever acted against me, nor I against them.

Well for one women can actually speak about their issues. If you try to talk about men's issues you have to do one of the following:

a) Find a way to blame men

b) Frame it as "men suffering, women most affected"

c) Frame it as a women's issue and then casually mention men at the end

If you don't do any of the above then you will be censored, harassed, and nobody will listen.

I can’t think of pros and cons of being a woman honestly. I just think I am human and humans have issues and struggles. I don’t think about my gender that much I suppose. I have walked late out at night. Was it smart? Probably not. At times did it create an issue? Sure, but I chose that. I’ve never let fear control my life so I can’t really say what you typically hear since I don’t care. I’ve never been cat called though I most likely would feel numb toward it anyway. I don’t get “sexualized” I also don’t wear clothing that sexualizes myself. I don’t know, I guess my only struggle is having to initiate everything and when finally someone else steps up to do it I get so shocked I freeze. I think at this point in my life I am very numb and I am just trying to get myself back you know. I feel like I have the weight of the world on my shoulders, I want so much to change and have so many ideas, but it’s all so much at once. I want someone that is close to be to finally just be proud of me, but I’ll never hear that from the people I want. As a woman I can not tell you anything about how my gender has cons and pros, it’s just me. Lonesome me. Smiling for a second only for it to fade away😅funny how everyone always thinks I am so happy and has a perfect life. I guess that’s what it looks like on the outside.

First of all, there are biological differences. Women can't gain muscle mass as quickly as men. Women have special hygienic needs. Most importantly, women have to sacrifice more than a man to become a parent. Being pregnant, giving birth and breastfeeding doesn't look easy to me.

Legally, I think in some places women aren't allowed to take jobs that require lifting weights more than 10 kg. Other than that, I've never seen a law that gives women any disadvantage.

Socially, I think the attention (pretty) women have from single guys can be a problem.

Why do so many people say this??? why? It reminds me of people who say that the "world is overpopulated" when statistics show that most nations are suffering from LOW birth rates.

A Wikipedia article reveals that:

"In the U.S., crime statistics from 1976 onwards show that men are overrepresented as victims in homicide involving both male and female offenders (74.9% of victims are male). Men also make up the majority (88%) of homicide perpetrators, regardless if the victim is female or male."

I am a male, I live in a relatively safe neighborhood and I like to go out for jogs, yet I would never go out if it was dark!

If men don't have to worry about being victims of crime then why do people bother on locking their houses or cars? I mean, don't most houses have men living in them?
