It should be illegal. Basing my insurance cost on how certain other members of my gender drive should not be allowed. I am a very conscientious driver. The first thing I do when I get in my car is put on my seat belt. I've never been in an accident. I have NEVER talked on a cell phone or texted while driving. And yet, I'm going to be charged more for insurance because of some other people who are not as conscientious as me and who have nothing in common with me except my gender? It's fucking stupid. It should be illegal everywhere.

Maybe they should ask if you like to drink energy drinks or some equally stupid ish, because that is probably a better predictor of who drives erratically than someone's gender, which is a characteristic that someone shares with approximately half of the human race.

First of all, pretty ridiculous that something this discriminatory is allowed to cost people that much money. Second, I don't understand the logic behind it. I could be wrong, but I believe i saw some numbers saying that women were statistically more likely to be involved in an accident, but less likely to be involved in a serious one. Going by their silly logic, shouldn't females have to pay a bit more for auto insurance?
