I don't doubt misogyny and misandry both exist and are both equally wrong, and the latter far too often is ignored and brushed aside and not taken seriously, and some even have the nerve to say it isn't real. But even misandrists acknowledging it as real will do their best to minimize it claiming it's not systematic or systemic like misogyny supposedly is and doesn't cause the same levels of harm.

I don't think it's systemic or systematic at all and think this is just misandrists playing victim and wanting to downplay and minimize misandry and men's struggles as much as possible. Do both misogyny and misandrisy exist? Absolutely. Are both equally wrong? Absolutely. But is misogyny a systemtic/systemic problem and a bigger issue than misandry? Absolutely not. They're both equally serious issues but I have a hard time buying misogyny is part of the government and society considering the overwhelmingly special and favorable treatment and protections women and girls constantly get. Not to mention disadvantages men and boys face like lack of abuse shelters for male victims, male victims of things like rape, domestic violence, sexual harassment/assault, etc. still not getting anywhere near as much recognition of help, society as a whole still failing to acknowledge and condemn female predators and abusers as much, the notion of always believing women even with no evidence when they make accusations, and things like the stupid Gillette ad and "educate your son" meme which totally overlook the fact many women and girls also engage in inappropriate behavior with men and boys. The fact that there was the school (I think it was Australia or New Zealand or the U.K.? Can't remember which) forced all of the male students to apologize to the female students for crimes men have committed against women and it was seriously considered in the U.K. curfewing all male civilians in the name of women's safety and how it's also been considered making misogyny a hate crime but not misandry; it's hard to be convinced misogyny is in any way a systemic or systemic issue considering how much attention it gets and action taken. Misandry gets practically nothing despite how widespread and equally serious and harmful it is.

Misogyny exists and is terrible, but claiming it's a systemic or systematic problem is just misandrists trying to further deter from struggles and inequalities men and boys continue to face and trying to make it seem like they don't matter. I know I've ranted about this before but it's so tiresome and infuriating constantly seeing misandry ignored or even claimed to not be real.
