A fallacy is a flaw in reasoning.There's no reason to running away, it's just taking the cowards route.

Not sure what you'd call that, my personal favourite is when they give you a bullshit "fact" like "of course we need feminism, women only make 77 cents for every dollar a man makes for the same job!". However when you correct them and say "actually that doesn't take other factors like hours worked or consecutive years with the company into account, when you control for those and other factors the 'wage gap' disappears". They then jump on that and say "no! When you control for other factors it only shrinks to 88 cents! The NAUW proved that! So there, sexism".

...I'm sorry, what? You just tried to claim that women only get paid 77 cents, now you're claiming 88? So you knew that your first argument was bullshit, but you said it anyway just hoping that I didn't know it was bullshit? I guess this is why feminists keep trying to block MRAs from talking, instead of actually engaging us in formal debate. They know if they opt for the latter their appeals to emotion won't mean squat.

It's an improper, dishonest debate strategy, not a logical fallacy.

Most of the time they're not really quitting, just moving on to make the same exact arguments in a hundred other places. It's a hit and run strategy.

Or it can be part of a tactic known as spreading - when they post walls of text purposefully designed to be impossible to refute. Even if you refute one or more of their points, they don't feel the need to debate further because to a naive reader it will still look like they've still got an overwhelming number of un-rebbuted arguments left.
