This article speaks of "emasculation" like it's something that results from an action, not a personality or inherited trait. As a so-called "beta" (implying inferior) male, this is extraordinarily offensive. The whole point of 3rd wave feminism and modern day men's rights groups should be that we aren't judging people based off of arbitrary parameters set up by centuries old and outdated gender roles.

If I am a man who wants to stay home and take care of children, or be a single dad, or knit, or sew, or do anything beyond "Manly" things, this makes me inferior? Under what grounds? I enjoy great career success and have many friends, none of whom use me as a doormat. What about other definitions of "alpha" or "Manly" from other cultures? What makes your definition better?

tl;dr If I want to live my life in a certain way, why should I fear ridicule, regardless of gender?

Beta men have always existed. My dad was a beta male. It's only now that we live in a softer time, and hypergamy exists unchecked with access to femporn that Beta Males can't settle down with a nice beta ~~girl~~ (Sorry, ~~faggot~~ idiot feminazis - WOMYNZZZZ)* and raise a family.

I would add that some beta males are too picky, do to porn, but that's a whole 'nother animal.

I don't want to insult faggots by equating them with feminism.

I really don't see why people dislike what this article says. IMO it is saying "men need to make their voice heard, without worrying about women getting offended. They have to take care of themselves."

Why is this such a bad thing? How is being beta, and passively allowing others to fight for you, or to tell you not to fight for what you want at all, is acceptable?
