Oh fucking hell. I'm constantly constantly showing the proof that the gender pay Gap does not exist and women do not make less. None of my female friends want to hear it. They want to be victims forever.

The only way to ever deal with someone bringing up the wage gap:

"Wow. Women make 77% of what men do? Are you sure you want to be bragging about that openly?"

(Some reply along the lines of WTF do you mean bragging????)

"Well, women only work 74% of the hours men do. I though you were bragging that they make 77% of the pay men do."

Usually, they'll ask for some source.

"The same report from the BoL that said the average full time working women earns 77% of the average full time working men, controlling for no other variable than being a full-time worker. So if the 'wage gap' is real, the 'hours gap' is just as real."

That usually shuts them the fuck up.

So a company is openly stating that they are giving people raises based on gender. Well, if that's not a lawsuit waiting to happen, I don't know what is.

I think there's one UK age group in which women earn more than men part-time and full-time. But because more women work part time, women's average earnings as a group are lower. Feminists still call this a gender pay gap in favour of men.

I'm looking for the source. Can anyone remember it?

Honestly this legislation doesn't concern me. I'm personally fine with companies posting the earnings of its employees. If there is a discrepancy that isn't to do with part time work then it should be corrected. If more likely there isn't then it will be a nice middle finger to this feminist rhetoric and we can finally put this subject to rest.

Of course the data should include hours worked and not just base salary.
