So he opposes due process in cases where only two people, who were probably drunk, really know what happened. But he's perfectly fine supporting due process when he gets accused of sexual misconduct when there are dozens of videos out there showing him being a creep.

It's better than what it was before the new changes, but it's still an unfair uphill battle. The people acting as judges are not following the same laws a judge has to, and they are biased as fuck. Still way too many advantages given to the accuser, if it happens to be female at least.

Joe Biden is a return to 'business-as-usual' for the Deep State.

A President who doesn't talk back, who defers to the 'expertise' of the bureaucrats, who bows to the poison pen of the corporate media, who kneels to the 'superior morality' of the financially and administratively opaque NGOs; Essentially, a well-dressed, amiable dunce whose job it is to sell servitude to the peasants and to take the hits for the decisions of his 'advisors' and 'donors.'

The assault on due process in general does not come from Biden; it comes from the people behind Biden. 'Campus rape' is just the vector of attack they've chosen to strip us all of another of our Constitutional rights.

Devos’s protections aren’t as robust as you think. It makes it more like a court in that your attorney can cross examine and you can bring an expert witness, that’s all slanted towards wealthier students, There’s no requirement that the school provide you with an attorney. Also it still allows these title 9 admins to make determination on what’s relevant evidence without any appeal process. It also allows for a plea process which as we’ve seen in the real court system is just a coercive tool meant to get poor people to plead out and not risk going to “trial” with some shit professor for an attorney.

Furthermore , devoss explicitly stated in the rule that schools can use broader definitions of sexual assault and harassment in non title 9 proceedings. So say you defeat the title 9 side of things, student honor court or whatever your school calls it can still fuck your life up.

Tl;Dr. this entire rule change is virtue signaling, unless your wealthy. It makes the appearance of true change while not actually doing anything, this just takes the fundamental inequities of our judicial system and copy/pasted them into title 9 courts.
