Why is there so much hostility?

Men are supposed to die. Dying means you were unworthy of society, and society NEEDS those men to die.

This is the mentality towards men from society. That's why they are hostile when we try to save their lives.

Men's rights is associated with class warfare. It's an essentially left wing issue because it means defending the rights of poor and working class men against the interests of the wealthy men who run the country. By contrast female interests have always been defended by the rich, often in the abstract if it's about working class women of course, and not always under the label of "feminism", but in recent decades looking after women has been identified with feminism and feminism has been funded very heavily by the ruling class.

Looking after women has always been popular and doesn't threaten the powers that be. Looking after men is extremely radical and represents a democratization of power that ultimately must undermine the ruling class.

This was clear even before feminism came along when you had the earliest men's rights campaigns to do with what we'd call labor rights today. Women were treated as valuable commodities by the ruling class, while men were disposable. Men had to be disposable because industry and society needed to spend their lives to create wealth or fight wars.

Fighting against men's rights is a survival strategy for the rich.

Every single study ever done on the matter shows large bias against men in the legal system.

After controlling for the arrest offense, criminal history, and other prior characteristics, "men receive 63% longer sentences on average than women do," and "[w]omen are…twice as likely to avoid incarceration if convicted." This gender gap is about six times as large as the racial disparity that Prof. Starr found in another recent paper.

Table 4 page 9 - 33% of the male victims who called police were themselves arrested, 26.5% their partner was arrested, the rest of the time no arrest.

if you want men to get the help that they need, it can only mean one thing: misogyny. It's astounding the hostility.

Feminism runs on government money.

The more money government gives men, the less it has to give to women (we're about tapped out as far as they can increase the tax rates).

That's probably the biggest reason why there's so much hostility to helping men.

Their answer to male suicide is twofold: ban guns so men can't kill themselves with them, and get them into therapy to make them think and act more like women.

Basically take away the one escape that men have from a shitty situation, then pat their head and tell them to get in touch with their feelings or try to talk through it like a woman would do.

Like any group, there are reasonable people who want reasonable things, and there are radical outliers who give the whole group a bad name. For example, Susan B Anthony was not a neo-feminazi who thought all men should die, but they both fall under the same general category. There are misogynist people who claim to be mra and since its more "buzz worthy"and gets more clicks/views, they get more coverage and causes people to freak out. Many people think mra is a bunch of men who can't get dates so they go on killing sprees to get revenge on women. Unfortunately, this greatly distracts from real issues the group would like to address.

Ask yourself, why do the men kill themselves almost 100% of the time instead of going on killing sprees when they have given up on life? If men hate themselves, why do you expect anyone else to love them? Men cannot even love themselves. You expect others to love them? For men to love other men? For women to love men?
