I propose a new Act in memory of Ross , “Bullock’s Law”.

When one accuses another of rape, both parties shall be kept anonymous until a judgement has been made by the authorities. A claim deemed to be false will then fall back onto any existing legislation so the “Perjurer” can be dealt with accordingly.

Sexual assault in any form is horrendous, but we should be doing everything we can to ensure false claims are not seen as judgements, and that we can try and curtail “justice-by-social-media”.

I’m sure there are holes in my Act, I’m not a lawyer or anything of the sort, just a concerned citizen. But perhaps it be something we should be moving toward to protect both parties.

While this is definitely tragic, I do I have to say that the first sentence of the article needed better editing. There were so many commas and clauses, plus it seemed to be missing prepositions or something. I know I'm being a grammar Nazi, but it's like right off the bat with such confusing punctuations and phrasing so I just felt like saying something.
