This is a childish (go figure) attempt to slur and slander a positive movement. Either OP is trolling or really is just a child. For the case of the latter, it's only natural that someone so young wouldn't have nearly enough life experience to see the bigger picture so there's no need the confuse naïveté and juvenile beliefs as outwardly hostile. We were all kids, too.

OP, I really think you need to take a step back from Reddit and just enjoy your youth. There will be plenty of time to tackle social issues in the future. You have a lot of trials and tribulations coming your way as you near adulthood. Don't miss out on these precious moments. And don't let hatred corrupt your heart.

Also, it seems like you have fallen for the feminist rhetoric which assumes that all men are misogynists..

Now, I'm not going to say that there isn't misogyny in this sub.. because every movement has its fringe outliers / bad apples..

But aside from the uptick of people celebrating the Roe Vs Wade overturn as if it is somehow a step forward in equality (Which I do not agree with) I don't see threads in this sub about 'undermining women's problems' Most of the threads are about pointing out issues that men face or double standards.

Here's some examples for you.

Do you think its fair that men, for no other reason than because of their gender are 50% more likely do be sentenced to serve time in jail for a crime AND when they do their prison sentences are on average 60% longer than what a women would get for the same crime?

Or do you think it's fair that a 15 year old boy who is raped by a 22 year old woman who then gets pregnant and goes on to have the child can SUE the boy for child support once he turns 18? and the state will agree with her and force this boy who is a victim of rape to pay his rapist?

How about the fact that the Duluth Model of Domestic Violence which is used by police forces / domestic services in many countries ASSUMES that in ALL cases of domestic violence involving a man and a women it is ALWAYS the man who is the aggressor while the woman is ALWAYS the victim? Is this fair?

Or finally, is it fair that girls / women have the right and protections against having their genitals mutilated where as boys / men do not?

These are just a few examples of the blatant discrimination / double standards that men face on a daily basis.
But we're not looking to bring women down or strip the protections they have away from them.. we simply want the same protections afforded to men.. you know because that's how EQUALITY works!

Maybe do some actual research and don't go jumping to conclusions just because your (Probably) feminist teacher told you so?

True MRAs are not misogynistic. We care about MENS issues. Supporting male mental health is misogynistic? Being against genital mutilation is misogynistic? Wanting fair family courts is misogynistic. You realize a majority of MRAs support abortion, right? A majority of MRAs have the common sense to know that to achieve our goals, we need to get women on our side. We need remove ourselves from the misogynists. We need to get rid of the myth that we're all just a bunch of neck beard incels. We're not. All we want. Is to help with Men's Issues.
