It seems as though most of the examples I have read on this subreddit have been problems in already developed nations. Yes, these are problems. But in the majority of the world (undeveloped and developing nations) women are still looked down upon, they aren't even so much as the victim because there is no system to turn to for help, sometimes not even family. So my confusion comes from why do I not see recognition of the issues of gender roles in society and why does no one recognize that mens rights is only an issue because of, albeit poor, attempts at creating a system in which neither gender is better, but the gender roles still remain. I'm not here to attack the people of this subreddit, I just feel like after reading a few submissions on this sub that the issue is not being looked into deep enough, and subscribers of this sub are ignoring all the issues of non-1st world nations.

-if I missed the point of this sub I apologize I viewed it purely on mobile and am now posting on mobile. Its also probably a bit choppy and hard to read.
