The sooner one accepts that it is deliberate and not on accident that this agenda is being pushed, the sooner one can begin to understand why and from where/who it comes from.

Toxic masculinity or extreme gender roles hurt men. Suggesting it doesn't exist or laying the blame squarely on women isn't helping.

You see, the problem is with the term “toxic masculinity”. It is incorrectly used against men when they are..... being men. Being “manly” isn’t toxic. Societal toxicity cannot be thrown on masculinity. If that was the case than there would be terms such as “toxic femininity”(which also is deliberate)but there aren’t thus leaving me to the conclusion that this is a brainwashing “propaganda”

If the only time one sees the word "masculinity" is when it says "toxic" in front of it then the psychological manipulation is working.

Those who use it to deride men and seek to steer the narrative towards their own ideas of what "good" male traits are are merely trying to create the villains that their dogma will save society from.

Masculinity is not for feminism to define just as men shouldn't be telling women how they should be expected to act.

Personal responsibility and honest self reflection should be the key here.

"Be proud to be a man and always be doing things that make you proud of your masculinity."

I like to think of toxic masculinity as masculinity that isn't disciplined or moderated. Like Genghis Khan shit. I just wish the media would present toxic femininity as a thing. They did that a bit with Mean Girls, and how a lot of evolutionary psychology is showing how women manipulate using very sophisticated sexual and social cues. So an example there would be the trophy wife who uses men for money and status and then breaks their hearts, divorces and sues them. But my whole theory here is predicated on my theory of gender as a spectrum, which is what many feminists believe, but leave out the part about biological nature. I think that's nonsense.

I think that a more appropriate term would be "toxic gender roles", as in my view the enforcing of these stereotypical gender roles/traits on men/women is what makes them toxic.

I do also think that toxic femininity is a thing, and can be seen in (for example) rising numbers of eating disorders etc. as its "feminine" to look beautiful and slim. I think that toxic femininity can be just as dangerous as toxic masculinity, hence my preference for "toxic gender roles", as the current conversations about toxic masculinity make it seem like femininity is fine.

These are toxic 'humanity' traits. The reason why males are focused on is because we are physically powerful and can exert our form of toxicity outward in gravely consequential ways much easier than most women can.

But yeah it's a people problem not just men

My problem with the idea of toxic masculinity is that a lot the behaviors that are deemed "toxic" are encouraged by women. I've seen my fair share of women orbit and stare moon-eyed at complete assholes, what cues should I be taking from this? Draco Malfoy had fans. That Cruz kid who committed the Parkland shooting was getting REAMS of love letters (Cops never gave them to him), and hardened convicts are getting marriage proposals in prison, sometimes for killing women. How are we supposed to take this behavior?

Society makes fun of men for not being manly enough. It is far less common to see society making fun of women for not being womanly enough.

Thats what toxic masculinity is. Society pushing men to be so manly that it leads to suicides when you lose your job, depression when you can't get women, and drug use when you feel like you aren't living up to societal standards of what a man is.

If you're wondering why men have it harder than women, it's because society has decided that men that aren't manly enough are losers. Thats what toxic masculinity is. The concept that pushes people to be so masculine that it ends up having a negative effect on men, women, and society in general.
