Sometimes I think this same scenario was the real reason for the downfall of Rome.

I'd like to see the whole story before making any judgments about her. Usually interesting what was not recorded.

On a related note, this story fits into a world where personal problems (feel threatened/harassed without any actual threats/harassment) are seen as legitimate because the person feels this way. And we "have to respect a person's feelings" ... instead of recommending some therapy.

After all, what could go wrong if we treat people's feelings not only as real to her (which they are, e.g., someone who is claustrophobic really feels panic in tight spaces), but as real in general (yep, the walls are really out to get that claustrophobic person).

But hey, competence and adult behavior is overrated and it's not going to lead to prejudices and outright discrimination, or lynchings or anything like that. Nope, never has ... /s
