I always have to wonder how utterly brain-addled someone has to be to legitimately believe the statement "We live in a world that prioritizes men" when women are absolutely , the hardcore privileged elite, life's "ultra easy" difficulty setting.

I think of how many guys I know that have had their live crash and burn over very small mistakes... then I think how many women I know that have consistently fucked up in every major decision they've taken, dragging down countless people with them, who still have fairly decent lives ahead of them due to the endless safety nets of various types that shield them from consequences.

Being born a woman is roughly the same as being born to a very wealthy family... that being said, I am glad I am male and wouldn't change if given the choice. I do not need a fortress to protect me and will carve out my own path in life despite the odds being stacked against men as a whole.

It's interesting that she writes several paragraphs without giving and specifics or examples.

It's extremely easy to say something vague like "because men are so used to being privileged, that it will seem like inequality to them when women get equality!" But without examples or proper explanation, it seems like gas lighting - trying to make men feel like they are crazy and imagining what women are doing.

Any person who has actually lived as a man knows there aren't really any unearned positions of power and the world doesn't prioritise men over women. It just doesn't happen.

These people live in a fantasy world. They would have you believe that growing up, men are allowed to beat, rape, grope women without punishment. That men get preferential treatment at every turn. Better educational opportunities. It's absurd.

Men don't get angry when women want to be treated fairly, it's also rarely the case that feminists want to be treated equally. They pretty much always want to be given an advantage that they didn't earn. I can't think of any examples of women simply saying "I just want to be equal with men". It's nearly always demanding to be given extra. "Wage gap", legal prosecution with hardly any evidence, ruining a guy's life with no evidence.

It's easy to find examples of this unfairness because it actually happens. But they make that bug a claim about men having power and advantage, which is a pretty big deal, yet have no examples. Which should actually be pretty easy to provide, like ridiculously easy.

They're just lying to get what they want.

As a woman, I have no idea why these women grew up prioritizing men over women. Women of different ages either treated men equally or like men were below them. Even as a MRA, I still treat men equally.

This is like my country's subreddit. People constantly post agender stuff about societal issues or fun things that typically aren't about men or women.

But feminists post once in a while some things about female issues and are badly welcomed, and their answer usually is "This sub is always for men, why can't be have some interest for women once in a while?".

It's the same thing for women's day, it's because every other day is supposedly men's day, for some reason.

I don't know why women/feminists think everyday life is all about men when it's mostly not gendered.

Take a second to think about what this means, and you see that the argument is absurd.

First of all, who is "everyone else"? There's only two genders. So if I'm in my nursery group with approximately even gender split, "everyone" is actually only half the room. The whole concept makes no sense.

It gets worse if you ever make it into something like boy scouts (at least, before they caved to social pressure). What does it even mean to be taught that you're more important than everyone else when you're all male?

It explodes when you examine the rest of the claim, especially in context of the rest of the argument. Do people really believe that men think they only got where they are because of their gender? Obviously feminists believe that, but are they really claiming that men actively believe they don't deserve the position they obtained?

Further, science is conclusive that men are more meritocratic than women, so even statistically, there's no reason to think they believe that.

I literally cannot wrap my mind around how much of a bubble someone has to live in in order to believe these things.
