Yes people react differently to acting stereotypically gay vs “normal”. In my experience, quite a lot of time acting gay is seen as a joke with other dudes, whereas women seem to take it more seriously

I am bissexual. Normally I'm masculine and not stereotypical but I'm not afraid to change behavior and show a gay or more typically female behavior. Straight women usually like that. Makes me look confident.
Lesbians have mixed reactions. Some feel like I was lying to them somehow, others feel like they just have met a mix of a gay and straight friend. Straight men: laugh. That's because they make a lot of jokes where they act like they were gay. But when they see I am serious, they use to accept it pretty fast. Just one time one straight dude tried to say I am "not acting like a man".
Gay men normally have a good reaction. Some of them are especially attracted to me.
Normally, I don't have to deal with homophobia because of my first impression. But now, I am in a very progressive university, in a class full of radical feminists.
So, i have to deal with misandry and to me it's pretty obvious that stereotypical gay men are not seen as men and men that look straight are seen as toxic right away.

Absolutely yes. When I was younger I learned very fast that I had to eliminate the “gay” fem type behavior. Classic case, I had a doting mom and a distant dad. In school I got beat down a few times by other boys and learned how to conceal it, I now seem straight due to my experiences. I’m not afraid of anyone anymore and am ready to push back since I had to learn to “be a man” when I was younger.

Not sure what I’d be like if I wasn’t pressured to act how I am now.

Sometimes people assume that I'm hitting on them because I'm gentle, and this is both for women who don't know I'm gay and men who know I'm gay. But I'm simply gentle. If I like somebody I act like that person is invisible to me.

I think women are as homophobic as men, they just don't say it outloud. It's not dating bi men, and is excluding trans women from women's places, and is excluding men with female-dominated hobbies and interests from those same places. Moreover, a lot of homophobia is lesbophobia, but feminists rebrand lack of lesbophobia for women as "women not sexualizing lesbians", while actually women sexualize gay too, see yaoi. Simply women are more homophobic towards other women and men towards other men.

I prefer men's body. I think male pecs/chest are the equivalent of female breast, but men are unaware of it while women are aware but tell each other without telling men. So a girl that touches a guy's chest is not doing an "affectionate" gesture, she is groping and touching a man like a man to a woman's breast.

Moreover, men are unaware of their erogenic areas other than genitals. Feminists talk about the gender orgasm gap because men are more stimulated around the genitals, but there is another reverse pleasure gap, which is non-genital areas, especially nipples.

Behaving like a feminine guy has gotten me treated like a clown and play thing for women. I do not enjoy it. I am a man and as a young male I learned very quickly to emulate heterosexual men, or to face the consequences sadly. Feminine behavior was punished severely by other boys who bonded over enforcing the "rules" of how boys could act. It's just how it was, like it or not.
Women treat us like they treat you, minus sex. We are crutches for them.
Men's bodies are, to me, objectively more attractive. You have to work SO hard as a man to build muscle. All women need to do is be thin. Men must create muscle mass. Everything about men, down to the projectile firing of semen is hot.
I find women pretty sometimes. If I had no options and women were easy to get I could see myself maybe trying sex with them, but I do not desire or think about them. I'd be happy if the entire world were just men. Straight men are the ideal of male behavior to me.

I'm gay. I was high in college with a girl who had a crush on me. I do not know how but I went down on her for over an hour. I remember her shoving my head down but that's all.
