I think we’re actually getting a taste of women in power, and I’m not so sure it’s any better. Most women I’ve seen use their position to advance certain agendas. Hence why men are being left out.

Well the idea of excluding men from "female only promotions" wasn't created by men, it was created by feminist HR departments.

The idea that a male victim of DV was abusing his female partner and she reacted in self-defense isn't patriarchy, it's feminism.

The large numbers of female teachers being caught having sex with boys in school isn't the patriarchy either. Or maybe white men have telepathy mind-control over these women?

The endless female only scholarships and grants in university which block male students including minority males isn't really patriarchy. Especially when women are the over-represented population. As if women are having difficulty getting into universities and need special enticing?

Maybe I'm just deluded?

this is a common feminist hate narrative but it doesn't really hold up to any logic. The systems we live in are not just created by men. People in power are people with money or people who are elected. There are plenty of women with money but the main reason why there are so many more men with money is because men have to devote their entire lives to making money in order to build an identity and a sense of value. Women do not have to do that, at a systematic level, but they can. Women can become rich too.

There are also plenty of women who are elected into positions of power but those positions are typically more trusted onto men because there is an expectation placed on men, that is strongly driven by women, for men to be leaders. Women do not respect men who do not lead, which means that there is a systematic drive for men to not only lead but to built an entire identity around their capability to lead.

The reality is also that it's not actually "men" who are in positions of power but rather a small minority of people who happen to be mostly men. That is a big difference. What's more is that, even if these people were all men, they would still have to make choices that appeal to women because at the end of the day, those men not only serve women but also serve men who serve women. The vast majority of men do not have power, do not get a say, and are entirely subject to the approval and desires of the women in their lives. Women control most households. "happy wife, happy life" is a mantra that is at the foundation of most relationships. Women control relationships, and therefore not only control which men get to live happily but which men get to reproduce and pass on the next generation. Men in power not only have to appeal to women, or be systematically hated and removed of their power, but they are pushed into positions of power by women as well. Leadership is generally a position of responsibility that women impose on men, while women effectively enjoy the benefits of leadership and none of the risks. We are, more so now than ever, living in a matriarchy.

Is not useful to think like this. What you’re saying is correct.

But look around men in there thousands are now saying no to marriage, no to children and they’re even starting to avoid woman in the work place.

In the last 5 years or so feminism has really ramped things up, but it actually did men a favour. It’s now obvious to most men that woman are not the angels we have been told they are.

I was reading a Facebook post this morning about African Americans and the biggest killer of them is abortion. Something like 50 million abortions over the last 50 years. That means 50 million woman kill African Americans over 50 years.

So yes as men we get a life full of turbulence. But you know what, I’m glad because it’s made me an unbelievably strong person and there is nothing else woman can throw at me that I can’t bounce back from.

So let them have there pathetic ways because in the end they’re suffering is self made and that makes me smile

It's an absurd proposition on its face that anyone "created" the system.

No one ever, in human history, sat down and purposefully architected how our society was going to be. No person could do this as their society contains too many individuals with too many opposing interests.

Most people believed they were acting on received wisdom from their ancestors they were not crafting society according to their whims.

So how does society come about?

Essentially it evolves like an organism. The societies or aspects of society that are maladaptive (read: not good for propogating that society) die off leaving you with something that is structured not according to any moral or philosophical principle or the interests of any one individual or group but rather in reaction to selective pressures.

yes, of course, the statement "men created the system so all problems are created by men" is an oversimplification. most systems, even in biblical times and medieval times, were created by a combination of men and women, and men and women need to take ownership of the problems in systems. both male and female leaders have started wars. most male dictators and male warmongers have a female enabler behind them, enjoying the social advantage, power, and riches that come from being associated with the dictator. both male and female leaders have been peacemakers. most studies will show that women are slightly less enamored with war than men are, so the feminists have a little bit of a point, but overall it doesn't make sense to blame one sex or the other. it makes more sense for people to work together to find solutions that work for as many people possible rather than pinning the blame on one sex or the other. that's just a distraction. a distraction usually advanced by people who don't want to get to the underlying problems in the system.

Don’t like all the bad guys getting punched in the face? Men make up over 75% of directors, writers, producers, editors, and cinematographers working on the top 250 grossing films. Over 85% of directors. Take it up with them.

How often do you see male characters getting raped or sexually assaulted? How often do you see male characters getting fridged? How often do you see male characters being victims of domestic violence? How often do you see male characters being victims of serial killers? Answer: MUCH less than females. By a LOT.
