I think it varies wildly really. I think most 'lads' don't really like taking no for an answer from a lady that they find attractive and usually insisting makes it much worse. It also matters incredibly how you approach her - there is quite a difference between 'I do one shot then you do one shot' and 'Would you like me to buy you a drink?'. I appreciate it is a very isolated example that I am giving, but the point stands.

That being said, this does nothing but blame without giving solutions.

I mean you have to understand the anxiety that can provoke. Most women are sexually assaulted in their life. Having a stranger stare at you on a bus would be uncomfortable as fuck
