I have always thought that there is a big elephant in the room around rape and sexual molestation. If it is the case , as per that one CDC poll, that women rape anywhere near as often as men do, that is the story of the century. But Is the evidence strong?

If so, then so many questions are raised:

  • does this then mean that almost nobody on earth is familiar with basic facts of rape? That the whole world is completely in the dark?

-if so, this must be the biggest systemic, judicial, discrimination against any demographic in the world.

  • If there is a strong hypothesis for gender symmetry in rape, but not yet enough data put together to convincingly and overwhelmingly prove it, should’t that be task number 1?

  • if rape is not at all gendered, is this a new development arising from the modern police and judicial state ?

  • Following from that, is the threat of false rape accusation the main weapon in female perpetrated rape on men?
