The problem with this is that you're calling about 50% (or however many are circumcised) of men that arr circumcised mutilated and disgusting. That's not the way to try and fucking gather support

Until I subbed to r/mensrights, I never considered the effects of circumcision.

I was circumcised, and personally am happy with the circumcised look, but I will not circumcise my son (whenever that happens). I will let him know when he's older, and at least allow him the option. Thanks, guys.

Hey Jewish people, I know that this is an important part of your religion, but how about you just not circumcise your males? I saw an infographic on reddit and it said not to do it.

But seriously, the whole point of not going down the path that feminism has chosen is to show that there are two sides of every argument. This chart is bias by one person's opinions and doesn't show the whole argument.

I'm usually a pretty strong supporter of men's rights. However I have always supported circumcision as a part of tradation and culture. I won't speak to how it's better since I have never had a uncircumcised penis. But me and my siblings were circumsised in a hospital under supervision by a doctor. Is it really that bad?

 I'm sorry, but this really isn't a black and white issue. Firstly, circumcision isn't nearly as bad as female genital mutilation for a slew of reasons. You can't equate the two practices. I'm in full support of men's rights but on this particular issue there is a huge difference. Male circumcision doesn't inhibit you from having sex, and as far as I know doesn't reduce the pleasure gained from having sex. You could almost say female genital mutilation turns women into property and entirely subverts them to their husbands sexually. The reasoning behind it is making sex a painful experience for women and preventing them from cheating on their husbands. It's a terrible thing to do to a person. Reddit loves to hate on it, but does anyone who has been circumcised actually feel bad about having it done? When it's done while you're a baby, you recover more quickly and forget the experience completely. But what if it isn't done, and you end up wanting/needing it in the future? Then it'll hurt like a bitch, and you'll regret not having it done while you were still an infant. Saying that you wouldn't do this if you love your kid is fucking stupid. I'll probably have it done to my kids if I have them, because I'd rather have them exposed to the pain earlier than risk seeing them suffer more in the future because of it. Circumcising your kid doesn't necessarily make you a bad parent. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion though. I don't regret my circumcision, I don't feel angry at my parents for mutilating me at birth. It's a choice that parents make, and it should remain that way. It's also entirely different from female genital mutilation.
