I know that there are a lot of femi-nazis that would like to say that every problem in the entire world is because of men and are, in essence, of the belief that women are better than men. I realize(hope) that when the word "feminist" is used here, this is what is being referenced. My father was a feminist. He believed in equality and that men and women should be treated the same way no matter if it will have a positive or negative affect on that individual or group (e.g harsher prison sentences for female offenders to match up with those doled out to male offenders, experience and excellence determining the person to getting a job). I'd had a couple conversations with people my age that frequent this sub that seem to have the idea that women by and large are treated with higher regard than men and have an easier time of it by and large. Is this the case? Can someone make sense of this sub for me?
